Who we are looking for

Volunteering opportunities at our libraries, museums and archives are popular. We invite all applicants for a short, informal interview to discuss their interests, skills and how much of a time commitment they would like to make which helps us to assess their suitability for their chosen role(s).

Please note that we require all our volunteers aged 16 years and over to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Powys County Council is an equal opportunity employer and all expressions of interest we receive from potential volunteers will be considered without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
