Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to content published on www.storipowys.org.uk.  The website is run by StoriPowys: Libraries, Museums and Archives, part of Powys County Council.

StoriPowys is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to everyone

The site uses a responsive design, which changes the layout of web pages, so that they work well on desktop PCs, tablets and mobile phones.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen

  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

  • use most of the website (this excludes pdf and other types of attachments) using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We've also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
