The Llywel Stone

This is a cast of a carved memorial stone, known as the Llywel Stone, now located in the British Museum.

The carvings on this face (probably of seventh to tenth century AD) may depict Biblical scenes from the Old Testament. The reverse side has an earlier fifth century AD inscription, displayed upside down.
