Discovered in 1925 at the bottom of Llan-gors Lake, this well-preserved logboat is a rare find.

It has been dated between AD 760 and 1020,and was hewn out of a single trunk of oak. It was probably associated with the Llan-gors crannog - a man-made island that was a royal residence during the Kingdom of Brycheiniog.
